About Us

Language Study Centres Ltd began operating from our Head Office in Manchester in 1999, and since then our portfolio of partner centres around the UK has been constantly growing. Our courses are sold to individuals through sales offices around the world, and to groups through agent in Europe, Brazil and Asia; we have also run courses for the Italian INPDAP and FASEN projects over the last few years. The selection of campuses we use is based on a combination of factors: desirable location, high quality accommodation, on-site facilities and student safety, and although we use these premises for only two or three months a year we have fostered excellent working relationships with the college staff so that we get the most friendly and sympathetic treatment for our students.

LSC Ltd is staffed by a dedicated team of people with long experience of this special area of the language travel market, and we are familiar with the concerns of our customers. The Head Office team is: Michele Harrison (Managing Director), Mark Hellyer (Academic Director), Patrick Amos (Operations Director) and Rachel True (Welfare and Booking Manager). We provide thorough training sessions for all our staff, whether they are involved in teaching, excursions, sports or administration, and high levels of supervision are maintained at all times (both on and off site). Whichever LSC centre you choose, you can expect a summer school run by a professional and well organised team where all the teachers are British or native speakers of English.
