London offers a vast range of entertainment such as clubs, bars, cinema, theatre; a choice of endless historic and cultural attractions such as The Tower of London, Buckingham Palace, Tower Bridge, and Madame Tussaud’s, to name a few. It also boasts an enormous variety of shops and beautiful stretches of parkland. The centre itself is situated very centrally within easy access of main shopping areas and attractions.

The SOAS campus is in the very heart of London. The accommodation block was built in 1995 and surrounds a spacious, private courtyard. The 4-storey teaching block opened as a London University campus in 2001; it was formerly an impressive Edwardian School.
The centre does not have access or facilities for disabled students. Banks, bureaux de change, post office, churches and a tube station (Kings Cross) are all a 5-minute walk away. The main shopping areas of Oxford Street and Tottenham Court Road are only two stops on the tube and trains run every few minutes.
