Full-time Teacher (Teaching only)
Responsible to:The Director of Studies, the Activity Co-ordinator.
Responsible for: Teaching students in the mornings and afternoons.
Main Duties:
- To teach from 9.00 to 12.20, and from 13.30 to 16.50 (or from 14.00 to 17.20).
- To attend a meeting prior to the start of the course and thereafter to attend regular staff meetings.
- To ensure that students adhere to the code of conduct laid down by the company.
- To ensure students receive all necessary information prior to departure on excursions.
- To liaise with group leaders on all issues of student welfare/behaviour.
N.B. On occasions when student groups have a weekday arrival the missed lessons are made up either by adding an extra 20 mins to each morning or by replacing an afternoon activity with a 3-hour teaching session. Teachers are expected to be available for any such rearranged sessions.
Rates of Pay
The current rate of pay is £330 per week (for 30 hours).
