LSC is a subsidiary of STS Student Travel Schools, a Swedish company which has been organizing summer language courses for overseas students for over forty years. LSC and STS run courses for overseas students aged from 12 to 18 at various centres around the UK.

We have lots of stimulating and rewarding summer jobs in the UK for people with TEFL qualifications and experience, but we are also keen to hear from teachers who are new to TEFL. In order to avoid making an application that is unlikely to be considered please read the following four points very carefully.

Please note that:

(1) these are short-term jobs (starting early July, usually for 4 to 6 weeks) which are aimed at teachers who have a base in the UK. Teachers currently working abroad can be considered if they can return to the UK in time to attend one of our pre-course training sessions (late June).

(2) non-British nationals based outside the UK cannot be considered.

(3) non-British nationals based in the UK can be considered providing they have native-speaker competence in English, are suitably qualified and have a British bank account.

(4) nearly all of these jobs are non-residential, which means you will need to have accommodation in or very near the course town.

We have summer jobs for TEFL qualified teachers at our LSC centres in: Bristol, Colchester, Durham, Edinburgh, London Harrow, Portsmouth, Walsall, Warrington.

We have summer jobs for TEFL qualified teachers at our STS-Interway centres in: Manchester, Stockport, Liverpool, Tamworth, Sutton Coldfield.
